COVID 19 Update 4/13/2020
Hello! We hope all of our students are doing well. As new information has become available about the end of the Spring term and the beginning of the Summer term, we wanted to make you aware of the plans at this time.
The Spring term will end on April 24 as originally scheduled with all student work to be completed online. Graduates ‘ transcripts will be processed as normal and diplomas will have an April 24, 2020 graduation date however, the graduation ceremony will be combined with the Summer session on August 26, 2020.
The Summer term will begin on May 18th when we have been approved to return to campus!
Returning students
Be watching your email for instructions on how to log into your portal and register for Summer classes. There are still a few more behind-the-scenes things that need to happen before those instructions will be sent out. You should receive those no later than the first week of May.
New students
For those of you who are scheduled to begin classes this Summer, we will be reaching out with details for you, as well. We will continue to communicate with you via your personal emails. Your first day of classes will be May 18th.
Tentative plans are for the campus offices to reopen on May 4th and all faculty/staff to return May 11th so that we can be prepared for the opening of the Summer term.
While this is very welcome news to us all, as we are anxious to return to campus and our normal routines, please keep in mind that as with all information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, these plans are still tentative at this time. As long as the virus peaks in our area when the experts predict it will, then we will be able to go forward with this schedule. But continue to watch this page for the latest updates. Please everyone, do your part to flatten the curve so we can return to campus. We miss you all!
COVID_19 Update 4/2/2020
As new information becomes available, we are sharing with our students, faculty, staff, and all who are associated with the Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Henry Carroll.
Today, we learned that the Tennessee Board of Regents is asking all campuses remain closed through the end of April. For our students, this means that you will finish the Spring trimester online. This term is still scheduled to end on April 24th. Students, please continue to work with your instructors and your online curriculum to finish strong!
All other activities on campus have been postponed at this time including the HESI (Nursing entrance test) scheduled for April 14.
For anyone trying to reach our offices, please send an email to tcatparistn@gmail.com. Our telephones are not being manned at this time. Everyone stay safe and healthy! We can't wait to be on campus together again!

Online classes:
All currently enrolled students should be prepared to transition to online beginning Monday, March 23rd. If you have not been in contact with your instructor at this point, please do so over the weekend. Their email addresses are available on our website at www.tcatparis.edu

Graduation update:
According to the newest CDC guidelines, large groups of 50 or more should be canceled for a period of eight weeks with additional guidance suggesting limits for groups of ten. After considering all available guidance, we have decided to combine our Spring and Summer graduation ceremonies. Unless the CDC issues new guidelines that extend the time frame for consideration, all students who complete their training during the Spring (January-April) and Summer (May-August) terms will participate in the ceremony scheduled for August 26 at the Krider Performing Arts Center. We hope this helps our Spring students and their families with planning
