John Penn Ridgway
Ridgeway was vice president of TCAT McKenzie from 2012 to 2020 and had been a staff member there since 2007. That campus has now been combined with the one in Paris to become the TCAT Henry/Carroll.
Ridgeway has a master's degree in education from Bethel University and a bachelor's degree in public administration from UT Martin. He transitioned July 1, succeeding Willie Huffman, who retired as president after three years in that job and 36 years of service to the college.
"I am extremely grateful and humbled to serve the people of Northwest Tennessee," Ridgeway said. "I consider it a privilege to lead a dedicated faculty and staff with the tremendous reputation of turning out a talented workforce. There is no doubt this describes TCAT Henry/Carroll and what the Board of Regents represents. What an honor it is to say I am coming home!"
